Lot 403 is one of Warehouse's signature sweatshirts.
This is a meticulously crafted Japanese-made sweatshirt.
It's a classic loopwheeled sweatshirt whose specifications haven't changed in over 20 years.
The detail of visible coarse overlock stitching between the double stitches is usually only seen in vintage garments, but we've made it possible by improving our sewing machines.
The brushed lining, formerly known as cotton fleece lined, is also reproduced by brushing the fabric while it's still in its tubular form.
We use loopwheel knitting machines, which are best suited to recreating the texture of vintage clothing.
Because the fabric knitted on a loopwheel knitting machine falls downwards after knitting, there is no stress on the fabric during winding, and it is knitted while incorporating air.
Therefore, although the fabric itself shrinks considerably after washing and drying, it has a unique soft texture that envelops the skin, which cannot be achieved with other knitting machines.
WAREHOUSE sweatshirts, made on loopwheel knitting machines—a rarity worldwide—have a substantial feel while remaining wonderfully soft and fluffy.
