WAREHOUSE presents work chambray from the "BIG YANK" brand, which was trademarked in 1919 by Reliance, a company based in Chicago, Illinois, USA.
At first glance, the pockets appear symmetrical, but the right pocket is a standard flap pocket, while the left pocket has a floating (three-dimensional) bottom, designed to prevent stored items (mainly cigarettes, etc.) from becoming damp due to sweat caused by rising body temperature.
The stitching mainly uses triple-stitched rolled seams, with an extremely fine pitch, and the way the thread sinks is just like that of old workwear industrial products.
The fabric is 16-count x 16-count indigo selvedge chambray, woven on an old-fashioned power loom using rope-dyed yarn.
