Workwear manufacturers in the 1940s emphasized their unique functionality through various details. In work shirts, this can be seen in the design of the pockets and yoke. This particular shirt features a distinctive yoke and ventilation, giving it a striking presence. It boasts triple stitching, typical of workwear. The ventilation eyelets are accented in green, and the length is slightly longer for easy tucking. The chambray fabric makes it easy to incorporate into various outfits, and the longer length allows for enjoyable layering. It's a piece that allows you to enjoy a slightly different vibe in your styling.
The original is believed to be from the 1930s under the COMPASS label, positioned as a high-end line with meticulous craftsmanship.
The reinforced areas, known as "reinforcements," not only double the fabric at the shoulders and cuffs but also incorporate a design that enhances ease of movement.
Furthermore, the eyelets, designed to release body heat, are made using genuine eyelets, a type of sewing machine rarely found today, and this detail, difficult to perfectly reproduce, has been painstakingly recreated.
The texture and feel of the coarsely woven cotton chambray fabric, characteristic of vintage garments, are also superb.
Luxurious details include triple stitching and selvedge gussets.
The material is 100% cotton, 16-count x 16-count selvedge chambray.
This is a one-wash finish.
