This is a Warehouse N-1 deck jacket (khaki) featuring both a patch and a back print.
"NAF" stands for "Naval Aircraft Factory," referring to the facility where Navy fighter aircraft were manufactured.
The NAF series—originally developed for the factory workers there—is highly rare, as these items do not appear in official contract number registries.
While jackets intended for factory workers did not originally bear "U.S. NAVY" on the back, such markings were sometimes added later if the wearer was reassigned to ship duty.
We have stocked the version featuring both the patch and the print.
It features a "USS ROCK AGSS-274" patch on the front and "U.S. NAVY" printed on the back, giving the N-1 jacket a more commanding presence.
It is designed to offer superior cold-weather protection compared to the standard N-1 (which officially adopted the khaki color in 1944) and incorporates distinct structural differences.
Specifically, it is constructed from much heavier-weight material than the standard N-1, resulting in enhanced heat retention.
It showcases the meticulous attention to detail characteristic of Warehouse, featuring high-density sulfur-dyed selvedge jungle cloth, an alpaca fur lining, a TALON zipper, and nut buttons.
The result is a truly unique N-1 jacket.
The overall silhouette offers a slightly relaxed fit.
With ample room in the body and armholes, it pairs easily with any style, whether worn over a T-shirt, sweatshirt, or other layers.
