"The fabrics produced by the textile industry are as essential to winning this war as guns and ships," said a Rear Admiral of the Quartermaster (QM) of the United States Navy during World War II.
At the time, they were the world's largest buyer of textile products.
Under the direction of the War Production Board, factories handed over almost all of their civilian production to the QM.
Factories faced enormous challenges converting their production facilities from civilian to wartime use.
In addition to converting to military fabrics such as herringbone and sanforized drill, they had to consider using wider looms than usual to increase the number of available producers.
Under these circumstances, clothing manufacturers were severely affected by material shortages and forced to simplify their operations.
"What did World War II do to denim?" We can get a sense of the situation at the time.
The WPA's Labor Employment Agency (WPA) ceased operations in 1943 due to the expansion of military demand, but the surplus fabric and materials were undoubtedly repurposed into valuable civilian goods.
This was an era when even denim looms were forced to be modified for military fabrics.
This remnant fabric was likely recommended as a substitute for pocket linings, which were made from a variety of fabrics during the war.
Sizes 6.7 x 6.7, brown cotton-blend pink selvedge WWII denim, iron tuck buttons (top: donut buttons), copper-plated iron rivets, 100% rayon yarn-dyed red piss name tag with lined edges, vegetable-tanned deerskin label, original flannel pouch pocket, and paint-printed stitching.
Note: This is raw denim, so shrinkage of approximately 5-6 cm will occur in the waist and approximately 6-7 cm in the length.

※Notes※
- Metal fittings such as buttons, rivets, zippers, and buckles may injure the body or other objects, so please handle with care.
- Because denim is woven on old-fashioned power looms, there may be unevenness, small scratches, or balls in the fabric. However, these are not defective products but genuine products, so please understand that we cannot accept exchanges or returns.
- Jeans may have creases. These may be creases from storage at our store, or from storage by the manufacturer, but in any case, creases from folding are not defective products but genuine products, so please understand that we cannot accept exchanges or returns.
- Denim may transfer color, so please be careful when washing and what you wear with it.

*The above measurements are for raw denim laid flat.
As a result, after washing, the waist will shrink by approximately 5-6cm and the length by approximately 6-7cm from these numbers.
We lay the garments on the floor, smooth out any wrinkles, and measure them with the fabric flat.
The size numbers may vary by a few centimetres depending on the individual product, the measuring method, and the amount of force applied.
As a result, the size chart is only a guide, and the actual numbers may differ.
*The product photos have been taken with a digital camera. Please note that the colours of the actual products may differ slightly depending on the screen size, etc.
